  • Cylindrical body
  • Highly polished scales
  • Blunt head, head and tail indistinct from body
  • Eyes barely visible

Habits

A small burrowing snake only surfacing during rainy weather.

Food

Insects and their larvae, ants and their eggs.

Reproduction

Oviparous. Lays 3-4 rice grain sized eggs.

Other snakes, spiders and scorpions.

Habitat

Found grassland and arid savanna.
